• Is vibration an issue for performance in your system?
• Do you need to reduce noise and component failure?
Vibrational analysis enables us to see how components behave as part of a working system. It is applicable to assemblies where revolving or oscillating parts are involved, for example internal combustion engines, and their component parts, such as gearboxes etc.
The survey is carried out using a whole-field, non-contact vibration analysis technique. By looking for patterns on the surface of an item we can see how the vibration is passing through an object and identify areas where there are resonant modes or peaks in displacement.
This can be done after the item is tested by an external test house in an anechoic chamber. Alternately we can induce a range of frequencies in order to carry out a full sweep of the component or system. The system can accommodate up to 500Kgs of test equipment.
